About Us
Pioneering a New Paradigm of Health
Our Story
Entelechy Living was birthed through the vision of The Peoples Health Alliance (PHA). When Anna Carson watched an interview between Pam Gregory (Astrologer) and Katherine MacBean (one of the UK Founders) in 2022, she knew that PHA was what was needed in these times – not only in Wollongong but also throughout Australia. A model of healthcare that supported and worked alongside the community, that embraced holistic and integrative modalities and placed the client at the centre of their own healing journey through education, autonomy and choice.
As an established Kinesiologist herself, Anna understands the beautiful weaving of the mind body
and soul through our physical experience and the importance of integrating these aspects into our
inner landscape and that true wellbeing cannot be achieved while only working through one lens.
Anna took bold action and became the Australia and Wollongong PHA Co-ordinator. Together with a group of dedicated community members, they went to work – started meeting regularly, connecting with other local holistic and alternative practitioners, holding Health Education events in Community Centres and envisioning just how amazing it would be to have a physical hub where everyone could gather and connect.
And then, a year later, in the middle of 2023, the owners of the Woonona Bulli Schools of Arts approached Anna and offered her these wonderful premises to lease. Julia had followed PHA for a while and resonated deeply with the concept and the vision. The School of Arts has been a community gathering space for over 150 years and so what a perfect place to bring our vision to life! Entelechy Living is set up as a not-for-profit and non-governmental organisation. It has been entirely funded and created by our amazing volunteer Core Team. We now have a wonderful smorgasbord of aligned practitioners working out of our space and also hold a fabulous array of community events such as movie screenings, open days, care cafes and drop-in clinics to provide an accessible safe and supportive space for everyone.
